KIRSTYN BURTON, FOUNDER, OWNER & PRINCIPAL
Kirstyn founded dancenergy studio when she was only 19 years old after numerous years of training at The McDonald College, teaching at various central coast & Sydney dance schools and performing professionally at numerous corporate events. After completing a cruise line contract she decided her heart and soul was with teaching and nurturing the dancers of the future. She is excited to get back into regular teaching classes to work with students in conditioning classes plus teaching the Petites Lyrical/Ballet classes as well as Lyrical & Contemporary Eisteddfod classes.
TENISHA CLARKE, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Tenisha was a student of dancenergy since she was 8 years old and has been a teacher here for over 8 years. In that time she has shown to be passionate about all things dancenergy. Her commitment and love for the studio and its gorgeous students has recently given her a bigger desire to be more involved in what she truly believes in.
She will be teaching Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro, Stretch, Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet & Ready Set Acro in 2025 plus continuing her role as the Assistant Principal.
KYRA JOHNSON -
We are so excited to announce that Miss Kyra is a STAR!
Kyra has been a student of dancenergy since she was 10 years old and was invited to become a teacher within the studio 6 years ago.
Her achievements professionally over the past few years have been incredible to witness but this year, she followed her lifelong dream to move to the USA to pursue her career as a professional dancer.
Kyra was just signed to one of the top agencies in Los Angeles (BLOC LA).
She will also be a head dancer with Brian Friedman at Radix.
We will miss her so much and will be so excited to have her return and do workshops within her dance family here at dancenergy.
We are so proud of you Miss Kyra!
